Will never stay again!
We liked the Water and Juice. The rest of the food was palatable! NO BREAKFAST FOODS AVAILABLE other than 2 sunny side up eggs that you had to wait 15-20 minutes in line to get!
For Breakfast there was ONLY Thai food available with ONLY 4 choices to choose from. Available choices for breakfast was Hot Curry, Rice, stir fried mixed vegetables, mini hot dogs, and ONLY sunny side up eggs! They also had a beach party that we paid 3000 baht for. It was so bad that we left before the ringing in of the New Year! ONLY Thai food available at the beach party! The announcer ONLY spoke Thai so foreigners did not understand! 70% of foreigners were Russian! It also took us 3 1/2 hours to check in!!! There were only 2 groups of people in front of us. Changed rooms 3 times as one room had brown dirty water coming out of the faucet!

Bad experience ever in Pattaya.
The only good thing for this hotel is next to the beach.Nothing good for other things.
The hotel is hugh but old fashion.Wasted money coming to this hotel.The breakfast is low quality and few selections.Water in the swiming pool is not clear.Room is liked 500-1000 bath a night not 3500 bath I paid.Be aware of this hotel.

Beds were comfortable.
Beds were comfortable. Breakfast is good. Nice to have the eggs/omelette station. Swimming pools are great.
AC noise is terrible but if you switch it off, you will get all the room wet and the floor slippery. Room decoration is from 50 years ago and the natural light is limited giving it even an older look. The water pressure in the shower was difficult to adjust properly and the door didn't close correctly making a pool in the bathroom.

What was the highlight of Ambassador City Jomtien Pattaya - Ocean Wing
Really nice place but could use some real improvements.
The place is nice, and massive. Multiple "wings" that are made from, what seems to be, independent hotels they acquired separately. Our Ocean wing rooms were nice. The Breakfast was fresh, good, and well stocked. The italian restaurant was good and well priced too. We didnt eat at the other restaurants but they had about 3-4 other options. Staff was friendly. They have a nice little night market on site, as well as a tour agent and a mini mart. All the prices were reasonable.
Room was somewhat smelly. The top sheets were stained, which is pretty egregious because it's not hard to see brown smudges on white sheets and then just not use those. The beds were pretty hard even by Asia standards. The ac couldn't be controlled up or down, but it luckily did keep it at an ok temp. It would be nice if they upgraded the locks to key cards instead of us needing to carry around large keys and keychains. Unfortunately, a small issue became a real pain throughout the visit. Each day, getting pool/beach towels or understanding their towel "rules" was extremely difficult. On our first day, we went to two pools to get towels but both were out. We waited 2.5 hours but none came. So I went to the nearest reception (tower), but they also had none. I had to go back to the reception for my own wing to complain in order to get some towels. On the second day, we tried just getting towels at our own reception like the previous day. But no towels available. So we went to one of the nearest pools on the way to the beach (the main pool) to get towels. They had some. We tried to go to the beach from there, but were told we couldn't bring those towels out of the pool area. We went to the pool nearest the beach, only to find they were out of towels again. This "hunt" for towels occurred daily. This place is massive, so that is a lot of walking around to hunt for towels that they advertise being apart of their service. The towel outages were not a fluke. They happen so often that they have preprinted signs to tell you they're out. They estimate 60 minutes each time, but it was actually hours. In general, assuming they had towels anywhere, in order to get any, you must visit reception each morning to get "towel exchange cards", which are good for a limit number of towels. The number changed each time I asked for the cards and they were hesitant to let me have enough cards to get towels for everyone in my family.
